A you a thinking man ? ( or woman ) .... Are you tired of first person shooters ? would you like to wage world war ?Well then this game is for you ... start in 1936 and prepare your war machine , do you want a massive air force , or tanks as far as the eye can see ? it's up to you to create the production lines ...or would you rather just jump into battle and relive a historical situation like the battle of the bulge or the last few months of the rhine when surrounded and out numbered ? Maybe you can turn the japanese tide in 1944 ....The Paradox line of PC games is outstanding , and none more so than their Hearts of Iron collection ... this is the third game in the series of which i own all three , and i can tell you that each new revision adds more to the game play , increases the graphical look , and gives muscle to the AI to make each game more challenging than the last ...in fact because of the ability of the AI to make somewhat variable decisions , each game will never play out the same way ...you can play online , or more importantly you can play offline , and that says a lot about a game that doesn't require other people in order to enjoy it in this day and age .....The support Paradox offers to their games is by far the best i've ever seen ... many many months and years after a game has been released they will continue to update and patch it , so your investment continues to pay dividends even after your initial purchase ...not to mention the wonderful modding and DLC community that breathes new life into your game as it gracefully grows old ...If you like history , if you enjoy strategic planning and above all want a challenge , then this game is for you ! buy it today !P.S if you do buy the game , check out this video series that explains how it works for novice players , you'll learn alotyou might look around and search for "Hearts of Iron 3 FTM - Basic Tutorial - Episode 1 " .. just saying ...
