I was looking for a new historical series and ran across this books blurb. I was instantly intrigued, which is difficult lately. I loved that the book wasn't written in alternating perspectives. Even more I lost myself in this book. My heart ached for the characters. Her writing makes you feel all the highs and lows the characters go through that closes with such a sense of peace and contentment. I will recommend to all my friends that enjoy a good historical that is familiar with a twist. Well done.
