I bought this book because it was the only one in the series not owned by my local library. I read it then donated it to the library. This whole series is awesome and if you like historical paranormal romance, please read the series in it entirety. Lena Todd is a terrific Character as the heroine and Will Carver....YUMMO! I love the sexul tension, I love the beastly tension and possibility of a dangerous chaotic result if Will loses emotional control, and I love the fact that the most powerful in this series are afraid of Will..We get to see characters from the previous book, and know for sure that we will see many of them again in future books. I wanted to fly through this book just to read what happened next. As I said previously, the sexual tension is great but so is the sex. However the book's plot and character developement is so interesting, I just could not put it down. I wish I knew who recommended Bec McMaster to me, because I would surely like to thank them. I hope she continues to write new sequels to this story and gives us continued exposure to these wonderful characters.
