After three decades I enjoyed this story as much as I did in my youth. Not sure if that says more about the book or me but Men Of Iron is a wonderfully thrilling story. I mean come on, who doesn’t love a story of knights, ladies and chivalry.Men of Iron is the story of a young boy with an indomitable spirit who rises above his circumstances to redeem his family honor, vanquish his foes and win a lady. Set in the 1400’s during the reign of King Henry the IV this story is full of intrigue, action, love and friendship. This is a great story for young people or those still young at heart. Howard Pyle is a great storyteller. Loved the book!
