Played my first round with these today, and I was impressed. Quality of workmanship wasalso first-rate. I've played the same set of Taylor made irons for the past forty years, and withthe improvements in club design and manufacture during this time, would have beensurprised if they weren't at least as good.I took one star off for the sticker reading "Assembled in the USA," however. I thought Tour Edgewas American made, but apparently not. If this is important to you, buyer beware.I was skeptical of the reviews. However, I was extremely impressed! I just turned 50 and play at around a 10-12 handicap. My AP2's are more of a tour iron, and the shafts are stiff. Not very conducive to my aging body and slower swing speed. These irons are absolutely amazing! From the grips, to the shaft (regular, btw), to the look and playability of the whole club.The ball launces impressively, and I seem to be getting about 10+ yards, per club. They are also very straight. Even on mis hits. And are extremely easy to hit. Even out of the rough.I have only played with them a couple of times, but I am truly blown away about how nice they are. The clubs have been great as described. I am a 12 handicap and needed to update my irons but wanted middle of the range costs. Probably gained about 10 yards on avg when compared to older more entry level irons I had before.Great looking set of irons. Went out this past weekend to practice and absolutely loved them. Certainly live up to their advertisement. Felt great in my hands and swing with ease.
