This "iron", if it can be called that, is a horrible waste of money and time!!! I didn't use it right away to desolder parts out of salvaged PCB's, so when I recently took it out of the packaging, heated it up, and tried to desolder a few pushbuttons off of a PCB, it didn't even heat up the solder so that I could use the solder suction part of this worthless thing. Even when it started melting some solder when solder was applied to the tip directly, it would NOT melt the solder on the PCB. Don't even get me started about the solder suction!!! It is so weak, it's not even funny!!! I missed the return window, but I hope you don't waste your money! DO NOT BUY THIS PIECE OF JUNK!!!
