ive been using hobby lobby HTV for 3.5 years.my original test shirt, which i absolutly abused and didnt take care or at all, is cracked.other shirts that ive had for an equal amount of time are still very, very good looking.the key is gentle wash, low heat dry or hang dry.i also use SISER easyweed, and while siser is better in all regards, the paper studio HTV cannot be beat for its price, it can somtimes be difficult to wee fine details, but siser is about equal with fine detail weeding difficulty.never had adhesiom problems, never had issies with it sticking to the mat, and ive used every single HTV color they have.and a word on their color selection, they have colors no one else has (especially glow in the dark) their neon pink is more neon than cricut or siser, same with neon green.they are missing royal blue htv though.i print shirts for my business, and in 3 years using paper studio, ive NEVER had one single problem with the paper studio HTV on the shirta ive shipped..not once.temperature and time are key, same with oressure.325 for 25 secondz with medium pressurepeel tranfer (let cool a couple seconds off the heat press before peeling)peel backing, re press for 15 seconds, done.let it hang for 24 hours to fully cure.things that speed up vinyl failure...using liquid fabric softnerto much/ to little heat.poor pressurewashing shirt before applying vinylironing.washing garment incorrectly.as for paper studio permenant vinyl, stay away from it, not easy to work with at all.go with htvront brand permenant vinyl (and transfer paper)compared to siser, there are very, very few differences.siser is sligtly easyer to weed, and will last longer, but, the downside is you have to buy it in longer rolls or color packs, its not readily available.cost, honestly siser is actually cheaper when your buying 5+ yards of colors.siser runs about $2.65 cents per foot vs paper studios $3.50 plus tax, a foot.but, paper studio is much more readily available, so if you run out, you can run to hobby lobby for it, rather than ordering and waiting on shipping. (yes walmart has siser, but siser in walmart length rolls costs $2+ more than the paper studio stuff at hobby lobby, and wal mart doesnt keep a good stock of their htv, so youll probably end up at hobby lobby anyways.i would give siser easyweed a 10.paper studio is a solid 7.5-8.dont be disuaded by it being a hobby lobby brand, its good HTV and worth the money if you dont want to order $36+ worth of one color.its definitly better than any "cold peel vinyl" on the market.and hobby lobby has been selling it for a long time, longer than 3/4 of at home printers even knew what HTV/ CRICUT even was to begin with.if you have issues working with it, trust me, its user error, not vinyl error.
