Many of the previous reviews talk about how the soapstone arrived broken. Well, the company has obviously done something different because it was a royal pain in the gluteus maximus to remove the protective packaging. My soapstone arrived unbroken, and the product worked extremely well. It is a quick and easy way of starting fires for those that are inexperienced. I plan on buying a second one for my woodstove at my second home
