It's a boat anchor. It's very well made for as well I can imagine a boat anchor can be made. Didn't weigh it but feels like ten pounds. Feels like it would anchor a little john boat quite happily. It doesn't seem to be suitable for anything else. It's dead useless for anything but being the boat anchor that it is. If you need something that fails horribly at being anything remotely useful for any thing other than anchoring small boats, consider this boat anchor. It will do that job. But nothing else. I am glad it's well made, and I am happy with my purchase.
