I have probably used this 10 times. So far so good. I have an electric kettle that I use to heat the water. I then steep my tea in this pot. The stainless basket was a must for me. I place this pot on a low heat electric burner on the stove, to keep it warm. So far so good. I have the green one and really like the aesthetics of this. There was a small chip in the enamel, just under the lid and a little rust will form there. This is annoying, but I just wipe it away before use. If this was gone, I would have given this pot a 5 star. I did not contact customer service or anything, I just deal with it.One of the best purchases I have ever made on Amazon. The cast iron helps keep the tea pot warm as well as the size of the infuser is perfect. The design of this tea pot is so beautiful it should be in a showroom. The directions clearly state to clean the pot out with boiling water and dry completely before use. So do follow the directions before you use it is cast iron and will have to be cleaned properly. To add, after I cleaned the teapot with boiling water I lightly coated the tea pot with avacado oil to prevent any rust. That is a personal opinion that helps maintain the great condition of the tea pot. Anyways, the price, the design, the quality... You can't beat it!Love ItI drink so much more tea now because of this pot. It takes about 5-7 mins to heat up the water and can make up to 2 full cups of tea (mine are 12 oz tea mugs). it can tend to rust only around the lid if you don't remove it immediately after and wipe it dry and the string on the handle came undone but just use gloves it can get REALLY hot!The handle did not come attached and it is impossible to attach it without breaking it. The handle also has lots of wear and tear which means it has been used before.This teapot sucks. I can’t even boil water because how can I even hold it. It also did not come with the wooden lid holder. It’s a waste of money. What a huge disappointment. I hope the seller gives me a refund or sends me a new one. There is a reason why this particular color and size is so cheap.Love it so much! Perfect size for 2 people to make & refill tea. This item really got me into loose leaf tea. I’m obsessed! The small size makes it convenient to store, it’s a perfect gift.The handle took two people to try and put on …. Not only that the handle was damaged.
