As a hairstylist it helps the station not over heat and also keeps my tools from falling off. My hair dryer has been dropped so many times and I use this for it as well and it doesn’t slide off my station keeps it in place while I do blow dries! Might ask my con workers if they want some to buy for them too!Update: got another pair for a co worker as she loves how I have these at my station! Definitely a favorite at the salon.
