I don't know about tools like it.My wife likes it. I like it, too.If you use not 110v, you need transformer.It's a nice curling iron but the diameter of the smallest one (1") is too large for my medium short hair. I would like to have a wave or a slight curl, but all I get it "straight"I would definitely recommend purchasing from this seller!It started peeling off already. I am not pleased with it myself but others may like it.Bought this product as a Christmas gift for my wife and she loves it! I highly recommend this product to those in the market for a curling iron!The curls turned out great and last for the whole day! It never heats up too much, almost no damage to my hair :DIt doesn't grip my hair very well. It's not much better than the Conair. Or, I just don't have the hang ot it. I won't bother to return it.This is a terrible curling iron. The rod has a rough surface, so your hair gets stuck and crimps. The clip feels like it's going to break.??????
