JCS Rhinestones features unique iron-on designs created by our own graphic designer for a wide range of interests. Jubilee Rhinestones began as a mom's home business and has been woman-owned and family-operated for 25 years. Follow the detailed instructions below to apply your iron-on rhinestone transfer to a t-shirt or tote bag. Easy Iron On Transfer Application Instructions Peel the white paper backing off the plastic transfer sheet. Place the transfer sticky side down on the shirt. It may be gently removed and re-positioned at this point to get it exactly where you want it. Iron the transfer with firm, even pressure on medium high heat. Do not wiggle the iron. Press and hold the iron onto all areas of the transfer for about 10-15 seconds. WAIT! Let the plastic cool to room temperature. Gently and slowly peel the plastic away. The stones will remain on the fabric. If any stones are lifted up, replace the plastic and re-iron the areas where the stones were lifted. Detailed Iron-on Rhinestone Transfer Instructions 1. Select a porous fabric or surface to apply your motif, such as a garment or ribbon. TEST FABRIC FIRST to know if it can withstand the heat of the iron. Rhinestone motifs should not be used on products intended for children 3 and under. 2. Set your iron to a medium-high setting (wool or cotton), or 350 degrees on a heat press. Turn the iron’s steam OFF. Place the fabric to receive the transfer on a firm, flat surface. Iron the fabric before applying rhinestones. 3. Place a piece of parchment paper behind the fabric (or inside the t-shirt) so the glue will not seep to the back side. 4. Inspect the rhinestone design. On a hard surface, press fingernails over the plastic to nudge offset stones back into position. Use the extra stones stapled to this card to replace any missing stones in the design. Use scissors if you want to cut the design into separate pieces or trim away excess. 5. Peel the white paper backing off the plastic transfer paper. Place the transfer sticky side down on the fabric. It may be gently repositioned as needed. Inspect the stone layout once more before ironing. 6. Iron the transfer with firm, even pressure. Do not wiggle or glide the iron. Heat all areas about 10-12 seconds depending on the size of the stones. Larger stones take more time; metal studs take less time. Ensure that all stones are heated and have pressure applied. The stones under your iron’s vent holes will not receive pressure, so reposition the iron once or twice. 7. Let the plastic cool to room temperature. Gently and slowly peel the plastic away. The stones will be glued onto the fabric. If any stones begin lifting up, replace the plastic and re-iron. Your iron may need a higher heat setting if the glue is not melting. 8. After removing plastic, briefly press the iron to the stones to reset any that may have loosened. The garment can be machine washed inside-out on a gentle, cold cycle. Lay flat or hang to dry.
