Pan size is decent for small family cooking. However the cooking surface is quite rough compared to other preseasoned cast iron pan, even rougher than the stove surface. I seasoned per instructions, not much food stick to pan using right temperature, but instructions said do not use soap, I still skeptical about that. After each cook I did dry the pan and reapply oil after dried.Very durable. Heat distribution is great, very heavy duty pan. Very pleased with purchase.
