seriously beautiful product. My old iron finally gave out after 7 years of heavy use, I only knew a few things that I was looking for in a new flat iron and this was the most affordable that had all of them, upon opening the box I was a little disappointed to see the temp dial only went up to 200, and started a return claim, with returns being such a pain and family coming in town tonight I decided to give it a try, and I'm so glad I did. It took about 5 min to heat up, but when it did o have no doubt that it hit the 400 degrees as stated on box, it straightened and curled my hair beautifully, pulling down my hair shaft was as smooth as slicing butter with a warm knife. No hair stuck to the plates, and it looked smooth and healthy when done, so happy I decided to try it out of desperation and not return it right away!
