purchased for brake jobs. woks wonders, perfect size.Extremely light build. I am surprised it has not broken so I gave it a 4.this seems to be a sturdy clamp. no issues using it. standard C clampI've been replacing decking boards, and some were slightly warped. This worked great for holding them down while I screwed them in place.Using these around the house and they are amazing! Wish I would have had them a long time ago! I've used them to straighten boards, change brakes, clamp sheets of wood together for gluing, and tons of other things. I'd recommend the 6" version though, as 5" is really tight on some things (2x4 clamped to a 4x4, changing truck brakes, etc).Use it almost every day works greatThey work well and do exactly what they’re supposed to.Typical Yost Quality. Not too big and clunky but not wimpy either. Nice balance and well made. Threads were flawless and you can clamp it down real hard if needed. Most Yost clamps and vice products are underpriced against the competition. This is no exception.Great product
