I have 4 daughters all with long thick hair and have about 6 flat irons ranging in price from $35 to $150. The most expensive one is the one that doesn't work well. Go Figure. I bought this for a Christmas present for one of my girls because she said her friend has it and it works so good and she was right. It heats up very quickly and you don't have to pull super thin amounts of hair through it for it to work. It takes her about 10 minutes to do her whole head and her hair is to the middle of her back. It also doesn't pull her hair like the other ones we have. The plates and smooth and goes through the hair without that pulling. Great Product!!!
