As an average sized guy, I wish this was a little larger. Or at least that I had the opportunity to try out the larger one to see how it feels. The padding does have some give to it, and I was able to do some long rides on it. My feet still went numb during a 10 mile race when I was in the aero position for 20 minutes, but it isn't horrible to sit on during training rides. I'm glad I got this saddle. The narrow nose is what I wish my other bike saddle had for touring. The length is about the same as my old one, just it is taken up by the extra part on the back.
