I purchased the 2” and it works wonderful. I noticed that it works best (my opinion) if you heat it really good and when placing on wood to not press too hard and not to hold it on wood for too long. Light pressure and about 2-3 seconds. Definitely recommend. Also when I emailed questions I got a response in a short Amount of time
