This Cast Iron Steak Plate is oil coated for a non stick surface. Clean cast-iron skillet after every use. Wipe interior surface of still-warm skillet with paper towels to remove any excess food and oil. Rinse under hot running water, scrubbing with nonmetal brush or nonabrasive scrub pad to remove any traces of food. (Use small amount of soap if you like; rinse well.)

Nice quality iron pan. I preheat it on the stove while preparing a tortilla pizza on the counter. When done, I place the pizza on the hot pan and into a preheated toaster oven on the low rack. The pan will be very hot, so you will need to have a metal pan grip to make the move from the stove. Amazon has these, and I would recommend buying one at the same time. It's very easy to clean, usually with a paper towel. I coat it with a little olive oil before use. This is a nice item to have if you want to make tortilla pizza in the toaster oven.
