USAGE: A micro-nutrient formulation containing water-soluble iron and zinc sulfates is for pin oaks and many other tree species growing in non-native alkaline soils. Because the elements are placed directly into the trees vascular system, the benefits of Inject-A-Min Iron-Zinc can be evident for one to five years compared to adjacent untreated trees. Iron and zinc deficiencies are characterized by young leaves exhibiting darker green veins with a yellowing or loss of color between veins. We tried this product out on a couple of our maple trees that were starting to go chlorotic because of our alkaline soil (previous owners should have planted different trees). We didn't really see any results from this product so either the trees were too far gone for the season, we drilled the holes too deep (since the instructions aren't too clear on depth), or it just doesn't work. For the price I'd expect better results or at least better instructions.Great buyNot work for my treesOne of my trees, leaves from few branches will starts browning and fall early.
